For the fifth and final installment in the Paranormal Activity series, Grandesign outfitted the house where the first film was shot with 36 hidden cameras, and put it on the market. We installed special effects around every corner and in every room, and our hidden cameras caught all the screams and shrieks. Every guest of the home was a real, potential home buyer, and every scare was a real, authentic terror.
This execution is considered one of the most viral campaigns in Paramount’s 100-year history, and notched 30 million global views during it’s first week. Organic write ups from Deadline, Inside, New York Times, Reddit, and many, many more organizations circulated around the web. During NBC’s New Year's Eve Broadcast, this trailer was applauded one of the best videos of 2015 by Al Roker and Maria Menounos.
